A Holiday Treat for the Kids at Franciscan

The kids at Franciscan Hospital for Children received a real treat on Thursday, December 20 when the Blueman Group and a group of Mascots of New England sports teams paid a visit to the Hospital. This visit was part of activities lined up for the Mike FM Radio-thon Kick-off Pizza Party. The Radio-thon is an annual event sponsored by Mike FM to raise funds for the Hospital. The kids at Franciscan got the opportunity to be entertained by the Mascots and to enjoy an outstanding performance by the Blueman Group amid great music and dance.

As always, Franciscan Hospital extends its gratitude to the Blueman Group, the New England Mascots and especially, our good friends at Mike FM and Entercom.

Ronald McDonald House Charities has funded several projects at the Hospital over the years. The Hospital has received funding on several occasions for its Augmentative Communication and Assistive Technology Clinic: a clinic that helps non-speaking patients or patients with communication problems and severe disabilites, enhance their ability to interact fully with the outside world.

Franciscan Hospital for Children is immensely grateful for the support it receives from Ronald McDonald House Charities!
